Compensation:
- Minimum Rate Per Hour: $32
- Maximum Rate Per Hour: $53

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Med Surg nurses to join our team in Round Rock, Texas. You will be working in a 101-bed, full-service hospital, providing personalized care across more than 40 specialties. As a Registered Nurse, you will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include conducting detailed clinical assessments, recognizing health issues, creating and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient responses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments, prioritize needs, and create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Relationship Building: Develop therapeutic connections with patients and families, maintaining professionalism and empathy.
- Education: Educate patients, families, and community members on healthcare choices, disease prevention, and management.
- Collaboration: Work with colleagues to develop comprehensive care plans, delegate tasks carefully, and ensure follow-up.
- Problem-Solving: Use effective strategies to address issues, ensuring safety, efficiency, and positive patient outcomes.
- Teamwork: Achieve goals through collaboration, recognize contributions, and commit to personal and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Licensure: Current and valid nursing license.:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Key Success Factors:
- In-depth understanding of nursing standards, procedures, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of nursing laws, hospital procedures, and ethical standards in patient care.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, electronic medical documentation, and information security.
