Hourly Rate: $28.00 (Shift differential: $2.00 after 2:00 PM on weekdays, $3.00 on weekends)
Shift Times: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM or 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Hours/Day: 8 hours
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load, which may result in overtime
On Call Requirements: Possible (to be discussed during the interview)

Job Overview:
As a Mobile X-Ray & EKG Technician, you will provide on-site diagnostic services, including portable X-ray and EKG, to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous sites across Connecticut. You will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of X-rays using portable radiography equipment and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images are obtained for physician interpretation. In addition to X-ray services, you may also perform EKGs and submit results to cardiologists for further evaluation. This position requires travel between different locations, interaction with patients of various backgrounds, and adherence to high safety and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Transmit X-rays to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to Cardiologists.
- Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with peers, management, and healthcare staff.
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork/billing documents daily.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols.

Physical Demands:
The role involves the frequent pushing/pulling of equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs., with the assistance of ramps and pulleys for transporting equipment into facilities. You may perform 16 to 24 X-ray procedures per day, and reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.
Qualifications:
- ARRT Certification required
- Maintain all required state licenses and operational requirements
- Valid drivers license in good standing
- Vaccination against COVID-19 or proper exemption documentation is required
- Limited License not accepted
