Position Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Craig, CO

Shift Information: Days, Monday - Friday, 40 hours guaranteed, No Overtime

Compensation Range: $35.03 to $52.55 per hour

Job Description:

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders. Working in a rural clinic, you will have the opportunity to treat a variety of conditions across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics, orthopedics, post-op, sports medicine, vestibular/concussion, and long-term neurological conditions. This position offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with mentorship and continuing education opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess patient needs, establish a plan of care, and implement treatment.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers, involving them in the care plan.
  • Provide quality documentation in a timely manner to support care.
  • Participate in professional development and apply newly acquired skills.
  • Advocate for the speech therapy profession and ensure patient safety.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and maintain professional knowledge.
  • Assist with in-service training programs for rehab and hospital staff.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Active Colorado Speech Language Pathologist License (DORA) or valid compact license.
  • Certifications: Current CPR (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience: New graduates welcome. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited speech-language pathology program.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and employee health meeting.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions) and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
