Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Urgent Care

Starting Pay Rate Range: $26.09 - $32.61

Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Working as part of a collaborative healthcare team, you will deliver quality care, assess patient needs, and utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Key Responsibilities:
- Collect comprehensive data on patient health and assess the situation to determine diagnoses or issues.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient progression and outcome attainment.
- Coordinate care delivery, engage in health teaching and promotion, and contribute to safe and healthy environments.
- Consult with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care strategies and outcomes.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Follow ANA Standards of Professional Performance, including continuous professional development and ethical practice.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide holistic care.
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in care planning and delivery.
- Act as a leader in nursing practice, adhering to legal standards and organizational policies.
- Support the mission and values of the organization.
- Utilize technology and software for patient care documentation, communication, and engagement in organizational activities.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Registered Nurse (RN) license from the South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing for Wyoming facilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Physical Requirements:
- Very heavy work exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly, more than 50 pounds frequently, and over 100 pounds occasionally.
- Exposure to radiation and frequent contact with contaminated needles and infectious substances.
- Ability to work designated shifts (including 8 and 12 hours), which may include night shifts or irregular hours.
