Schedule: Monday to Friday preferred; 5x8s or 4x10s possible
Start Date: Within 2-3 weeks (based on facility clearance)
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,110.00

Job Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Coordinator (MHC) for a full-time contract assignment in a correctional facility in Arizona. The MHC provides direct clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature to incarcerated individuals. Candidates must be comfortable working in secure environments and must meet facility clearance and licensure requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical interviews and mental health assessments using record reviews and inmate interaction
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans based on mental health evaluations
  • Provide counseling services, crisis interventions, and therapeutic support
  • Maintain thorough documentation in medical records for all treatment interactions
  • Apply appropriate psychological counseling theories and therapeutic techniques
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to correctional and clinical care standards

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related clinical field
  • Active, unrestricted LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in the state of Arizona
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a comparable role
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for facility clearance)
  • Must reside 70+ miles away from the facility
  • Must be able to start within 2-3 weeks (clearance dependent)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid drivers license preferred
  • Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays if needed
  • No RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed during assignment

Preferred:

  • Experience in correctional or forensic settings
  • Active AHA BLS certification
