Position Title: Obstetrics Nurse Manager
Location: Globe, AZ
Salary: Starting at $115,000+, based on experience and certifications
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Two 12-hour shifts as an RN and two administrative days.
Job Description:
As the Obstetrics Nurse Manager, you will be a key leader in shaping the quality of healthcare for expectant mothers and their newborns. You will manage department employees, oversee policies, and ensure efficient daily operations in the OB unit. This role is vital in providing high-quality care in a safe and nurturing environment for both patients and staff. Reporting to the CNO, you will be responsible for patient care in the maternity and newborn care setting. With around 1 baby delivered per day and 2 RNs on shift, this position offers a unique opportunity to lead and inspire a dedicated team in a family-centered work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the OB department staff.
- Oversee the implementation and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership for patient care in maternity and newborn care settings.
- Ensure that high-quality care is delivered to all mothers and babies.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the CNO and hospital leadership to improve patient care and staff performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current licensure to practice as an RN by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
- 2+ years of progressive nursing experience, demonstrating principles of nursing practice, judgment, and supervisory abilities.
- Master's degree preferred but not required.
- Relocation to the service area is required.
