Position Overview:

In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care activities in the Endoscopy Unit. You will assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, administer IV conscious sedation, and manage emergency situations with competence and confidence. This position provides an opportunity to build stronger connections with patients and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists physicians during endoscopy procedures, including both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- Administers IV conscious sedation safely and monitors patients for potential complications or emergencies.
- Participates in the planning and evaluation of patient care, providing clear direction to LPNs, CNAs, and Schedulers.
- Ensures patients receive personalized care, promoting a positive experience and optimal health outcomes.
- Provides critical support in emergency situations, instituting necessary procedures as needed.
Education:
- Degree from an accredited Nursing Program required.
Experience:
- Med/Surgical nursing experience required.
- Critical Care nursing experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current Montana RN licensure required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong foundation in basic nursing principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in IV skills.
- Basic office and computer skills to document and manage patient care.
