Salary Range Midpoint: $39.00/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a pediatric care team in Peterborough, NH. This full-time position involves delivering high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients within an outpatient office setting. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and provide family-centered care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for pediatric patients.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and execute patient care plans.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Clinical Oversight: Guide and supervise clinical support staff such as LPNs and Medical Assistants in delivering delegated care.
- Documentation: Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in patient medical records.
- Advocacy & Support: Serve as a patient advocate and provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and all applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuing education to maintain best practices and clinical excellence.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain).
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
