Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery
Location: Lakeway, TX
Shift: 12 HR Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36 Hours
Hourly Rate: $32 - $53 per hour
Job Overview:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery, you will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. You will be responsible for patient assessments, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and evaluating patient responses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
- Create, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, adjusting as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Build relationships, manage discomfort, and maintain professionalism in interactions with patients and families.
- Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to foster informed healthcare decisions.
- Work closely with colleagues and the community to create and follow through on care plans.
- Delegate tasks effectively and follow up promptly.
- Use various strategies to solve problems related to patient care and collaborate with families and staff.
- Demonstrate teamwork, recognize contributions, and commit to personal growth and community service.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an Accredited Program.
- Specialized field of study in Nursing.
- A current and valid Registered Nursing (RN) license.
- Must obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
