Shift: Full-Time, 12-Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), 3 Shifts Per Week (36 Hours Total)
Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 per year, based on experience
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Cardiovascular Services to lead and oversee our cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) clinical services. As a Director, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations, ensuring quality of care, and guiding the strategic direction of the department. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP services, ensuring high-quality patient care and clinical performance
- Manage departmental operations, including fiscal, material, and human resource management
- Ensure compliance with department protocols, standards, policies, and performance metrics
- Oversee staffing, training, and competency assessments for cath lab personnel
- Foster collaboration between clinical departments, physicians, and support services to ensure an integrated approach to patient care
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and mentorship to staff, and address any performance issues
- Manage resources and equipment to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Support the professional growth and development of team members
- Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, and staff to resolve any issues or concerns
- Monitor departmental performance and implement quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related field (nursing, healthcare administration, etc.)
- Must hold one of the following credentials: RN, APRN, RCIS, or Radiologic Tech (RT)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of recent experience in a leadership role within a Cath Lab or EP department in an acute care hospital setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and foster a positive work environment
