Location: Round Rock, Texas
Shift: Full-Time, 12 HR Nights (07:00 PM - 07:00 AM)
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36
Hourly Rate: $32 - $53
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. In this critical role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with severe cardiac conditions, including those recovering from heart surgeries and managing acute cardiovascular issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional nursing care to ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC) patients.
- Communicate continuously with physicians and the healthcare team about patient conditions.
- Assess patient needs, create and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Experience:
- Minimum one year of ICU experience required, two years preferred.
- License/Certification:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire).
