Location: College Station, TX
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week. Self-scheduling available.
Salary Range: $32 - $53 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Now offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus to RNs with 2+ years of experience.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The ED provides care for a diverse population, including pediatric and adult patients with acute and often complex emergencies. In this full-time night shift role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient needs, and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide critical care in emergency situations, including trauma, stroke, and cardiac cases.
- Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, administering medications and treatments as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure effective and efficient patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
- Assist in the expansion of the Emergency Department as the unit grows to 32 beds and 2 trauma bays.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current, valid RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- 2+ years of experience in an emergency room or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of emergency care protocols, patient safety, and critical care management.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
