Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $32 - $53
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (for full-time candidates with 2+ years of experience)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced Emergency Department team. This position will allow you to work with a diverse patient population, including transplant, cardiac, trauma, oncology, pediatric, and geriatric cases. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care, quickly assessing and diagnosing patient needs, and developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quickly and accurately assess patient care needs in a high-acuity emergency department environment
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with doctors and staff
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize patient needs
- Provide care for patients with a variety of conditions including sepsis, chest pain, trauma, and more
- Perform diagnostic procedures, monitor patients, and provide continuous care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to protocols
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Must have at least 1 year of RN experience in an emergency department
- Active RN license
- BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
