Pay Range: $33.91 - $46.63 per hour (based on qualifications)
Shift Differentials:

  • +$1.96 per hour for shifts between 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • +$4.25 per hour for shifts between 11:01 PM – 7:00 AM
  • +$1.82 per hour for weekend shifts

Job Overview

A regional healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join its Imaging team at a 125-bed hospital in Grants Pass, Oregon. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment where you'll perform a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while providing exceptional patient care.

The Radiologic Technologist will utilize independent clinical judgment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure patient safety and comfort, and support physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations using digital imaging equipment
  • Produce high-quality images while following established imaging protocols
  • Evaluate radiographs for quality and ensure accurate imaging prior to submission
  • Provide compassionate patient care and maintain patient safety throughout all procedures
  • Perform exams including, but not limited to:
    • Chest
    • Abdomen
    • Pelvis
    • Extremities
    • Skull and spine
    • Fluoroscopy procedures
    • Portable imaging
    • Operating Room (C-arm) procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
  • Accurately document procedures using the electronic health record
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care
  • Follow departmental policies, safety standards, and state regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • ARRT Certification in Radiography (RT(R))
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiography procedures and patient care
  • Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and independently when needed

Preferred

  • Experience with fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and C-arm procedures
  • Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
  • Familiarity with Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR)

Orientation & Training

  • Comprehensive department orientation
  • One to two weeks of hands-on training with experienced imaging staff
  • Direct supervision during onboarding to ensure a successful transition
