Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday (40 Hours per Week)
Pay Range: $31.52 - $52.00 per hour ($65,561 - $108,160 annually)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Job Overview
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a compassionate and skilled Radiation Therapist to join its Radiation Oncology team. The Radiation Therapist will work closely with physicians, physicists, and oncology staff to provide safe, accurate, and effective radiation treatments while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions and treatment plans
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process
- Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment
- Monitor patients for treatment-related concerns and communicate findings to the care team
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation
- Assist with department procedures and examinations as directed
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients throughout their treatment journey
Qualifications
Required
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and patient care standards
Preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience
- Previous experience in a hospital or cancer center setting
