Pay Range: $34.98 - $43.15 per hour ($72,758 - $89,752 annually)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Job Overview

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join its growing Respiratory Therapy team. The ideal candidate will have experience in respiratory therapy, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, treat, and monitor patients requiring respiratory care services
  • Maintain accurate patient records in both electronic and paper formats
  • Document treatments, procedures, and patient responses
  • Enter patient and billing information accurately into electronic systems
  • Provide age-appropriate care based on patient needs and developmental stages
  • Assist with sleep studies and EEG testing as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Required

  • Current New York State Respiratory Therapist license (RT or RTT)
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience
  • Ability to perform oxygen, CPAP, and BiPAP titrations

Preferred

  • Polysomnography (Sleep Lab) experience
  • Previous hospital-based respiratory therapy experience
