About the job Maintenance Worker
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing systems, Flexible to assist with engineering test lab
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and tenants in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, such as motors, pumps, and compressors.
- Fabricate and install parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance projects.
Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with staff and tenants.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Leadership skills to oversee maintenance projects and coordinate with other team members.
- Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Welding skills are a plus.
