Scope and General Purpose of Job:
The Business Development Manager will drive the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and implementing effective sales strategies in the spa industry.

Reporting To: Senior Management / Spa Director

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research:

    • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends.
    • Analyze competitors and potential partners for industry insights.
  2. Strategic Planning:

    • Develop strategic business plans to achieve company goals.
    • Identify growth areas and create strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
  3. Relationship Building:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Attend industry events to expand the company's network.
  4. Franchise Sales:

    • Pursue franchise opportunities across India.
    • Engage in lead generation and conversion for franchise sales.
  5. Sales and Revenue Generation:

    • Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
    • Develop and negotiate contracts and proposals.
    • Conduct sales presentations and close franchise deals.
  6. Lead Generation:

    • Identify business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and digital marketing.
  7. Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams for seamless strategy execution.
  8. Client Management:

    • Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
    • Address feedback and maintain positive relationships.
  9. Risk Assessment:

    • Assess risks associated with new opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.
  10. Reporting and Analysis:

    • Monitor local marketing and franchise sales performance.
    • Provide reports on key metrics and improvement areas.
  11. Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage budgets for business development activities.
    • Ensure cost-effective strategies for maximizing ROI.
  12. Continuous Learning:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the spa or related industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
