Scope and General Purpose of Job:
The Business Development Manager will drive the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and implementing effective sales strategies in the spa industry.
Reporting To: Senior Management / Spa Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends.
- Analyze competitors and potential partners for industry insights.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop strategic business plans to achieve company goals.
- Identify growth areas and create strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Attend industry events to expand the company's network.
- Franchise Sales:
- Pursue franchise opportunities across India.
- Engage in lead generation and conversion for franchise sales.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and negotiate contracts and proposals.
- Conduct sales presentations and close franchise deals.
- Lead Generation:
- Identify business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and digital marketing.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams for seamless strategy execution.
- Client Management:
- Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Address feedback and maintain positive relationships.
- Risk Assessment:
- Assess risks associated with new opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor local marketing and franchise sales performance.
- Provide reports on key metrics and improvement areas.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for business development activities.
- Ensure cost-effective strategies for maximizing ROI.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the spa or related industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
