School Cleaner

We are looking to recruit 2 x School Cleaners for one of Nexgen's Education Partners in the Ringmer/Lewes (BN8) area.

These are part-time, permanent positions for 12.5 hours per week (each), where standard working hours are 3.30pm-6.00pm (Mon to Fri), 2.5 hours per day.

Core Responsibilities - Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
• Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
• Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
• Hovering of carpeted areas.
• Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
• Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
• Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks

What are we looking for?

• Prior professional Cleaning experience
• IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps).
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
• Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
