I am looking for an experienced planner to join one of the largest

Candidate Specification
As Planner and provider of schedule management support, you will be proactive and focused in driving multidisciplinary project teams and clients to achieve key objectives and enhance their capability and performance through your support and direction as a key member of the team.
A degree in a construction management, engineering or related project management subject.
Wo Working towards a relevant professional qualification (APM or equivalent).
· Demonstrable planning experience in multiple construction, design or an engineering-based project environments across all of the implementation phases.
· Practical experience and competency in using schedule management tools (e.g. Oracle P6).
· Able to develop and maintain a programme of work autonomously in collaboration with the project team, from first principle through an outline project scope of work, scheme drawings, contract works information, contract data and key dependencies.
· An understanding and practical competency of contract (NEC3/4), cost and risk management, and the related dynamic co-dependency of these in conjunction with the programme.
· Monitor key activities and interfaces based on the project schedule and advise project management of key risks, issues, dependencies and opportunities.
· Excellent oral and written communication and organisation skills.
· Experience of working in high-performing teams and for taking responsibility for deliverables and of the output of others, e.g. assistant planners’ output.
· Be proactive and focused in driving the project to achieve its key objectives and in doing so, enhance the capability and performance of the project.
· Excellent client-facing skills and ability to build positive relationships.
