About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in glazing and panel work to oversee and execute construction projects from inception to completion. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Nashville, Tennessee, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with the engineering team, manage sub-contractors, ensure high-quality standards, and exceed customer expectations. The successful candidate will have a background in project management, particularly in the glazing and panel industry, and will be dedicated to maintaining safe work environments while achieving financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Satisfaction: Ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Estimating & Bidding: Apply estimating principles to project bids and overall management.
- Sub-Contractor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage sub-contractors; monitor performance to ensure project alignment.
- Operational Excellence: Support strategic plans by meeting production, quality, and customer service standards; resolve issues as they arise and suggest construction management improvements.
- Budget Oversight: Track project expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective measures; contribute to annual budget information as required.
- Project Execution: Define project purpose, scope, and resource requirements; establish standards and coordinate schedules for staff and sub-contractors. Evaluate milestones and manage change orders to ensure project alignment with goals.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections at key project phases; secure approvals as required to maintain project flow.
- Compliance: Enforce adherence to codes and OSHA standards, ensuring that projects proceed without delays or fines.
- Safety & Security: Promote and maintain a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment through adherence to standards and legal requirements.
- Industry Knowledge: Keep current with industry practices, emerging standards, and construction techniques by engaging in professional development.
- Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to communicate project specifics and maintain alignment with project standards.
- Billing & Cash Flow: Ensure timely project billing to support organizational cash flow.
- Continuous Improvement: Take ownership of challenges, actively seek new opportunities, and bring added value to project outcomes.

- Experience: Proven background in project management within the glazing and panel industry.
- Skills: Strong organizational, budget management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with industry codes and OSHA standards.
