Ai Scientist

As an AI Scientist, you will be the brain behind our most complex intellectual property. Unlike a traditional engineer, your focus is on the "Why" and "How" of the underlying models. You will conduct original research, experiment with novel architectures (LLMs, Diffusion, etc.), and publish findings that keep Newbridge at the forefront of the Vietnam tech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Algorithmic Research: Design and implement state-of-the-art machine learning models, with a focus on Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, or Generative AI.
• Experimental Design: Set up rigorous frameworks to evaluate model performance, including loss function optimization, hyperparameter tuning, and cross-validation.
• Mathematical Modeling: Translate abstract business problems into formal mathematical frameworks.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Work with AI Engineers to ensure that theoretical models are optimized for production-grade latency and scale.
• Innovation: Stay current with the latest papers (arXiv, NeurIPS, ICML) and prototype new techniques to give Newbridge a competitive edge.

Technical Requirements

• Education: Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a highly quantitative field.
• Core Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python, C++, and deep learning libraries (PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow).
• Theoretical Depth: Deep understanding of linear algebra, calculus, probability, and optimization theory.
• Experience: Proven track record of building complex models (e.g., Transformers, CNNs, GNNs) or contributing to open-source AI research.
