Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Scientist / Data Engineer to strengthen the core data and technology foundation behind our clients quantitative research. In this role, you will partner closely with researchers, engineers, and investment professionals to unlock value from new datasets and build production-grade data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Sourcing & Engineering: Build and maintain scalable pipelines to ingest, cleanse, tag, and integrate diverse new data sources.
• Exploratory Analysis & Insights: Perform deep-dive analysis, generate descriptive statistics, and uncover patterns with potential alpha for investment strategies.
• Data Platform & Infrastructure: Design, develop, and support automated, high-quality systems for data collection, validation, QA, and retrieval.

Qualifications

• Education: Ph.D. or Master's in a quantitative field - Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: Proven experience in Data Science, Data Engineering or a related quantitative role.
• Technical Skills: Expert-level Python and SQL; proficiency in at least one additional programming language. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and financial datasets is highly preferred.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong track record of applying advanced statistical techniques to large-scale, complex real-world datasets.
• Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
