Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow and Java Developer to join our clients Technology team. As a Senior ServiceNow and Java Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, as well as contributing to the development of Java-based applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including workflows, integrations and custom applications
- Develop high-quality Java code for our applications, following best practices and design patterns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working with our support teams as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our solutions
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on ServiceNow and Java development
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform, including workflows, integrations, and custom applications
- Proficient in Java 8 or later, with experience in developing scalable and efficient applications
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
