Key Responsibilities:

• Business Leadership & Strategy: Define and execute the global strategy for the trading division, overseeing performance, growth initiatives, and operational excellence across diverse markets and client segments.
• Commercial Ownership: Full accountability for revenue generation, trading volumes, profitability, and cost management. Develop scalable frameworks to ensure sustained market expansion and financial success.
• Product & Market Development: Guide the strategic evolution of derivatives offerings, including perpetual contracts, options, and advanced trading tools. Ensure continuous competitiveness in execution quality, liquidity depth, pricing efficiency, and overall trading experience.
• Institutional Growth & Relationships: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with professional trading participants, including proprietary trading firms, institutional investors, and liquidity providers. Drive expansion of the institutional footprint and deepen participation within the trading ecosystem.
• Global Expansion & Operational Robustness: Collaborate closely with regional leadership, technology, risk, and compliance teams to support strategic growth in both established and emerging markets, ensuring operational resilience and regulatory adherence.
• Team Leadership & Culture: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, international team across trading operations, growth, analytics, and commercial functions. Foster a culture of ownership, rapid execution, and measurable outcomes.

Candidate Profile:

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a senior leadership role within derivatives, electronic trading, exchanges, or multi-asset trading environments.
• Revenue Ownership: Demonstrated success in managing and scaling a global trading business with direct revenue accountability.
• Market Expertise: Deep understanding of market structure, liquidity mechanics, and advanced trading infrastructure.
• Global Operations: Experience operating effectively across multiple international markets, navigating complex and regulated trading environments.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial instincts coupled with exceptional operational execution capabilities.
• Executive Presence: Credible executive presence with the ability to effectively engage and influence technical, commercial, and leadership stakeholders.
• Mandarin Fluency: Required for effective communication and collaboration with teams in the China region.

Preferred Background:

• Experience within global trading venues, exchanges, or leading institutional trading firms.
• Direct exposure to digital asset markets or other cutting-edge electronic trading environments.
