About the job Business Development Manager

Our client, a leading multinational company in the beverage packaging industry, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across new customers, new categories, and export markets in Vietnam and the Southeast Asian region (SEA). This role plays a critical part in expanding regional presence and building long-term strategic partnerships with key customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new customers in Vietnam and sub-regional export markets (SEA)
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with potential customers and partners
  • Collaborate with internal commercial and cross-functional teams to develop and present business proposals
  • Lead contract and pricing negotiations, including cash management alignment
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with qualified prospects
  • Promote and leverage company technologies, products, and services
  • Drive new applications and new categories for company products
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence: market share, competitors, trends, and customer decision structures
  • Monitor competitive pricing, activities, and market movements
  • Perform other assigned tasks aligned with business objectives

Main Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development
  • Experience or solid understanding of the F&B packaging/ Manufacturing industry
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing skills
  • Good understanding of commercial contracts and regulations
  • Strategic mindset with a long-term, sustainable growth orientation
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including long-distance business trips
  • Good command of spoken and written English
