About the job Physiotherapists (Multiple)
Our client is a transdisciplinary team of allied health professionals and support therapists that specialize in treating children and adults. Our team consists of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist, Therapy Assistants, Psychologists, Speech Therapists and Dieticians. We have been successfully assisting individuals to reach their goals for the past ten years in Perth and the Southwest of Western Australia.
They offer comprehensive, evidence based and person-centered practice. Their holistic approach is directed towards achieving meaningful goals to maximize confidence, skills and independence.
This position will be based at their Bunbury clinic, but will involve travel within work hours to other areas surrounding Perth and within the Southwest.
Physiotherapists must be dynamic and experienced. A minimum of 18 months working as a Physiotherapist is preferred, particularly in the neurological or disability industry. We value experience with both adults and pediatrics, or the willingness to learn and develop in both age groups. New employees will have exposure to therapists experienced in Bobath Therapy, Feldenkrais and Hippotherapy.
The key responsibilities the Physiotherapists are:
- Provide assessment and rehabilitation services to children and adults.
- Liaise with and provide support to families, caregivers, support agencies and other health disciplines.
- Assist in the coordination of therapy plans to maximize patient outcomes.
- Conduct assessments and prescribe equipment and modifications
Registration requirements:
- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHRPA).
- Valid Working with Children's Check.
- Current full drivers license.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Required qualifications:
- Qualification in Physiotherapy (undergraduate or Masters degree).
- Demonstrated experience working as a Physiotherapist (minimum of 18 months).
