  • Job Summary

The Blow Mold Machine Operator is responsible for operating high-speed blow mold and auxiliary equipment to manufacture plastic parts for cooler-related products while meeting quality and production standards.

  • Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
    • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb stairs multiple times per shift.
    • Must be able to manipulate tools with both hands.
    • 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Able to communicate in English
    • High school diploma / GED
    • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and flame retardant work clothes, etc.
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat, dust, noise, vibration, humidity).
  • Preferences to Get Job
    • One (1) year Blow Mold experience
    • Previous manufacturing experience
    • Familiar with industrial products
    • Ability to communicate in Spanish
    • Computer literate
  • What you do on Job
    • Operate blow mold machines and auxiliary equipment.
    • Conduct visual inspections of production parts to ensure quality standards are met.
    • Monitor and report any quality issues.
    • Accurately track production output and reject counts.
    • Verify proper equipment functionality and report any issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
    • Participate in and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S guidelines.
    • Stack products according to engineering standards.
    • Operate foam equipment.
    • Trim excess material (flash) from parts as needed.
    • Transport materials safely and efficiently to designated machines.
    • Operate hot stamp machines and sonic welders; assist with handle and back-up installations.
    • Maintain proper organization of fixture, mold, and tooling rack areas.
    • Re-grind defective parts for reuse.
    • Achieve established daily production targets.
    • Provide machine operator relief during downtime or job reassignment to maintain efficiency.
    • Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on blow mold and auxiliary equipment.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Assist other processes as directed by the supervisor.
