  • Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. This role also includes maintaining plant facilities, including buildings and grounds, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

  • Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in industrial machine/equipment maintenance, including troubleshooting and repair.
    • Ability to operate forklifts and other lifting devices.
    • Strong knowledge of plant equipment, utilities, and facility maintenance.
    • Must be able to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skill
    • 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Able to communicate in English
    • High school diploma / GED
    • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to eye & hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and flame-retardant work clothes, etc.
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat, dust, noise, vibration, humidity).
  • Preferences to Get Job
    • Experience conducting forklift maintenance and repair.
    • Experience maintaining both manual and CNC shop equipment.
    • Basic electrical experience, including troubleshooting circuits, testing electric motors, and working with 480V 3PH and 120-208V 3PH electrical systems.
    • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
  • What you do on Job
    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery, including but not limited to forklifts (diesel & LPG), lathes, forging equipment, hydraulic systems, and AC compressors.
    • Dismantle machinery and equipment to access defective parts, utilizing hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
    • Repair or replace defective components and conduct routine maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning.
    • Adjust and calibrate functional parts of machines and control instruments.
    • Replace and maintain electric motors, pumps, furnaces, hammers, and band saws.
    • Perform general maintenance of plant facilities, including buildings, grounds, plumbing, and basic carpentry.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Assist other processes as directed by the supervisor.
