Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced maintenance technician for repairing and maintaining electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of production machines and equipment. This is not meant to be an all-inclusive list, but it is a representation of duties to be performed daily.

Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job

  • Must have 5-10 years’ job-related experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Work experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical workings required
  • Good trouble-shooting skills
  • Experience with hydraulic systems
  • Must be alert and work safely in accordance with established safety guidelines
  • Available to work any shift and overtime as required
  • Must have the ability to work with different kinds of people
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
  • Experienced forklift operator
  • 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Able to communicate verbally and via email in English
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent required
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and flame-retardant work clothes, etc.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, kneel, crawl, climb, balance, reach, and lift regularly.
  • Capable of lifting and pushing/pulling up to 60 lbs.
  • Strong visual acuity and mental focus required for diagnostics and repair work.
  • Exposure to fumes from sealant and other finish products used in work area.

Preferences to Get Job

  • Journeyman card a plus
  • Experienced with electrical voltage up to 480v 3 phase
  • Experience training with Allen Bradley PLC
  • Ability to perform small fabrication welds

What you do on Job

  • Visually inspecting machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.
  • Remove, and replace worn or defective parts of drive mechanism or hydraulic system, using hand-tolls and power tools, following blueprints specifications or service manuals; starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair
  • Install, start up, and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for lock-out/tag-out and in line with OSHA requirements
  • Perform preventive maintenance functions as directed; informing department manager of potential problems
  • Regularly inspect areas to ensure that good housekeeping practices are followed and maintained
  • Perform other duties comparable to the above duties or as assigned by the department manager
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Other tasks as assigned by direct Supervisor
