Job Overview:
My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Project Development Manager to join their winning team in Hanoi office. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the construction industry, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing strategies to increase revenue.
Responsibilities:
Identify potential clients and develop relationships with key decision-makers in the construction industry.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, both as a construction contractor and investor, and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients, demonstrating the company's capabilities and value proposition.
Collaborate with project teams to develop proposals, bids, and quotes for new projects from very early stage until winning the project and completion of project implementation.
Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring that contracts are profitable and meet the company's objectives.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the competition.
Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities and progress towards targets.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
Proven track record of success in business development, preferably in the construction industry. Potential candidates should have experiences going through a full circle of a bid, from Pre-qualification stage until successful submission of the bid proposal.
Experience with international bid is highly regarded
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as required.
