Company Profile: Established international wholesale electronic goods company, selling in the UK for over 10 years. Products include LED lighting and Solar Energy equipment such as inverters, batteries and Solar Panels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understanding requirements from various category leads (lighting and renewables) on sales strategy and what role marketing is to play.
  • Execute the marketing objectives by instructing internal designers and copy writers with the appropriate communications.
  • Plan corporate events and exhibitions from strategy, design, vendor interaction, merchandising, literature and attendance. Post event activities like lead capture, and follow-up to be coordinated with the correct sales or customer care team.
  • Training by department heads on the products, to be continued by self research and constant update by liaising with industry professionals and internal team.
  • Consistently update category websites with fresh content, and ensure best user experience.
  • Regular campaigns (email, telesales, website) and social media activity to cover brand awareness, new launch, event invitation and sales related objectives.
  • Ensure tangible and measurable results with all activities, with clear CTAs, and post review on performance, with constant tweaks to future activities to achieve maximum conversions to sales.
  • Ensure upkeep and update of CRM activities by the sales team to be used for marketing activities.
  • Localised and individual area sales manager campaigns to assist in target achievement.
  • Local and national merchandising for customers as requested by the sales team.
  • Facilitate case studies with customers and interact with 3rd parties for site visits and images.
  • Full and complete ownership of UK marketing activities.

KPIs:

  • Deliverables received on time by relevant departments
  • Growth in results from campaigns, in terms of conversion rates measured by clicks, opens, other engagement and actual sales.
  • Growth in product knowledge
  • Sales growth related to marketing activities
  • Self initiative to find best industry practices and innovative marketing ideas
