Role Summary
We are seeking General Internists / Internal Medicine Physicians to join a busy fully virtual outpatient practice. This opportunity is ideal for physicians looking for a streamlined, well-supported remote practice environment with strong patient demand, steady volume, and the ability to focus on clinical care without unnecessary operational burden.
This is a fast-paced, organized virtual care setting where physicians can build and maintain a broad adult outpatient practice while working independently within a collaborative team environment.
The practice has a strong focus on cardiometabolic care and diabetes management. This is not an exploratory medicine practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive virtual outpatient internal medicine care for adult patients
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions through virtual consultations
- Deliver ongoing care for patients with complex medical needs and multiple comorbidities
- Support patients requiring cardiometabolic care and diabetes management
- Order and interpret laboratory investigations and diagnostic tests
- Develop treatment plans, manage follow-up care, and coordinate referrals as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using the clinic EMR
- Collaborate remotely with clinic staff to support efficient, high-quality patient care in a busy virtual setting
- Determine when in-person assessment, testing, or referral is clinically appropriate

Compensation
- Fee-for-service split available
- 70/30 split
- Strong patient volumes to support robust earnings
Qualifications
- MD or equivalent with training in Internal Medicine
- Licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, or eligible for independent licensure in Ontario
- Must be able to provide virtual care to patients in Ontario in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing a broad range of adult medical conditions in an outpatient virtual care setting
- Experience or interest in cardiometabolic care and diabetes management is an asset
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, patient-centred approach
- Comfort using EMR systems and virtual care platforms
