Responsibilities
1. Communicate designs through low- and high-fidelity UI mockups, written and diagrammatic documentation, and prototypes for testing, validation, and production.
2. Present design work in UX review sessions and broader stakeholder presentations, taking constructive feedback and applying that to further design iterations.
3. Address backlogs of design debt by identifying and prioritizing areas for improvement, ensuring that design standards are maintained.
4. Ensure application space parity by assessing and aligning functionalities across the product, providing a consistent and seamless user experience.
5. Elevate the product's professional feel by refining visual and interaction design elements, ensuring a polished and cohesive aesthetic across the product.
Minimum Qualifications
1. At least 5+ years of related professional user experience design experience, with work samples that clearly demonstrate skills, craft, and experience in true customer-facing product delivery.
2. Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction design, or equivalent work experience.
3. Experience in building a design system or contributing to a design system. 4. Experience with CAD/CAM software.
5. Experience designing for applications spanning desktop, web & mobile experiences for SaaS, and cloud-based software.
6. Experience working in large and/or distributed organizations.
7. Experience in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, and/or Electronics Engineering fields.
8. Solid understanding of design systems, design patterns, and reusable components.
9. Demonstrated ability to visualize and prototype intended solutions at various levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations to technical documents and diagrams.
10. Good communicator and storyteller, able to explain technical topics to a non-technical audience.
