Experience: 8+ Years
Rate: 55 to 62 CAD PH
Role Summary: NearSource is looking for a Senior Visual Experience Designer to drive high-quality, scalable design across enterprise-grade construction and CAD platforms. This role focuses on elevating visual craft, ensuring cohesive user experiences, and modernizing complex workflows across web and mobile environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver refined, production-ready interfaces for a Fortune 500 product company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the visual design of core platform experiences, delivering polished, high-quality user interfaces across web and mobile applications.
- Drive alignment of key platform areas such as Navigation and Project Home with overarching design direction.
- Enhance usability and consistency across data management and administrative workflows.
- Communicate design rationale effectively, influencing stakeholders and advocating for high-quality visual decisions.
- Standardize UI patterns by aligning with design systems and reducing fragmentation across products.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and UX designers to deliver cohesive, production-ready experiences.
- Contribute to a global design community, sharing best practices and elevating design standards.
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of experience in visual design, product design, or UX/UI design.
- Expertise in visual design fundamentals, including typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and composition.
- Proven ability to deliver high-fidelity, production-ready UI for complex software products.
- Strong experience designing for mobile and responsive platforms.
- Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, and UX teams.
- Portfolio showcasing high-quality, visually refined interface design.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience working with or contributing to design systems.
- Familiarity with consolidating multiple UI frameworks into a unified platform experience.
- Exposure to CAD, construction, AEC, or enterprise software domains.
