Rate: CAD 45 to 55 per hour
Role Summary
NearSource is looking for a Business Analyst – Project & Change Management to support enterprise initiatives focused on business transformation, process optimization, and operational excellence. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver core business analysis services, project coordination, and change management activities for large-scale programs. The successful candidate will drive stakeholder alignment, facilitate workshops, develop critical project documentation, and support the successful adoption of new processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end business analysis services across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions in person and virtually
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Develop and maintain process maps, project plans, business change management plans, statements of work, and governance documentation
- Prepare steering committee presentations, risk and issue logs, decision logs, and executive-level reporting materials
- Identify process improvement opportunities using established business process improvement methodologies
- Coordinate activities across I&T support teams, business units, project teams, and leadership stakeholders
- Drive change management initiatives to support organizational adoption of new tools, processes, and governance frameworks
- Manage project priorities, timelines, and deliverables while maintaining high standards of quality
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through research, feedback, and best practice development
- Provide direction and coordination across technical and business teams to ensure successful project delivery
Must-Have Skills
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Business Analysis within enterprise environments
- Proven experience delivering business analysis, project coordination, and change management services
- Strong proficiency with the full Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio
- Expertise in developing clear, comprehensive, and high-quality project documentation
- Hands-on experience creating project plans, process maps, and change management plans
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision-making and gain alignment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional-level English proficiency
- Experience facilitating cross-functional meetings and workshops across diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Working knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and delivery frameworks
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to identify and document business problems and recommend practical process improvement solutions
- Experience supporting organizational change and governance framework implementation
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience working within large enterprises.
- Familiarity with formal business process improvement methodologies
- Exposure to IT support team coordination and enterprise transformation initiatives
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations for steering committees and leadership teams
- Knowledge of continuous improvement frameworks and operational excellence practices
