Location & Work Mode:100% Remote, Canada
Core working hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with flexibility to start early or late as needed.

Role Summary

NearSource is looking for a Content Designer III to support enterprise-grade construction software initiatives for a Fortune 500 product company. This role focuses on designing high-quality learning and in-product content that improves clarity, usability, and adoption across CAD and AI-powered experiences.

You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to define content standards and evaluate AI-driven experiences, ensuring consistency, effectiveness, and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess AI-driven product experiences from a content design perspective, focusing on completeness, clarity, formatting, conciseness, voice, tone, and personalization
  • Define and implement a structured methodology for evaluating the quality of AI-generated content responses
  • Drive content design decisions that improve product usability, learnability, and customer adoption
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver cohesive, high-quality software experiences
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to inform continuous content and experience improvements
  • Contribute to and maintain content standards across construction-focused CAD products
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align content strategy with overall customer experience goals

Must-Have Skills

  • Proven experience writing and structuring help, learning, or in-product content for software applications
  • Strong background in designing intuitive and easy-to-learn software experiences
  • Hands-on experience working with AI-powered software features
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience contributing to or delivering production-grade software applications
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and self-motivation
  • Bachelor's degree in Content, Design, Engineering, Software, Communication, or a related field

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience working within the AEC industry
  • Exposure to or hands-on experience with generative AI technologies
