We are seeking a highly hands-on and operational Inventory Control Coordinator to manage daily inventory activities, ensure accurate stock levels, and maintain alignment between system records and physical counts.
This role requires strong experience working inside ERP/WMS systems, downloading reports, validating data, and executing inventory control processes with precision.
Your work will directly support accurate inventory reporting, reduce discrepancies, and contribute to efficient operations across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily inventory operations, including system updates, stock movements, and record verification.
- Enter the ERP/WMS system, download inventory reports, validate data, and identify inconsistencies.
- Perform operational tasks such as labeling, tracking inbound/outbound stock, and supporting warehouse teams when required.
- Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts, physical counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate alignment between system inventory levels and physical stock at all times.
- Support the optimization of inventory storage, rotation, and handling procedures in coordination with warehouse staff.
- Track inbound shipments and confirm timely receiving to maintain system accuracy.
- Coordinate directly with suppliers to confirm delivery dates, shipping documentation, and product lead times.
- Prepare and maintain inventory control reports for management using ERP data, Excel, and other tools.
- Assist in identifying shortages, overstock situations, damaged goods, or slow-moving inventory, escalating when needed.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and safety standards.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of operational experience in inventory management or supply chain roles.
- Strong proficiency using ERP systems, WMS platforms, and inventory control tools.
- Ability to download, analyze, and reconcile inventory data from systems.
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting and data validation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills in Business English and Spanish.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in lean inventory practices or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience working with multi-site inventory operations or international suppliers.
