Our client is seeking a skilled Fund Accountant with hands-on experience in investment funds and fund administration to join their growing team. You will play an important role in managing fund accounting activities, investor reporting, NAV calculations, and capital activity. Your work will directly contribute to the accuracy of financial reporting and provide critical support to the fund and its investors.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support day-to-day accounting activities for investment funds, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
- Prepare and review NAV calculations, including the underlying cash, investment, expense, and accrual activity.
- Process and reconcile capital calls, distributions, investor contributions, and other fund transactions.
- Prepare and review LP statements, investor allocations, and periodic investor reporting.
- Perform detailed reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across fund, investor, and financial data.
- Collaborate with internal teams, fund administrators, investors, and other stakeholders to resolve accounting and reporting matters.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, investment accounting, or a related financial services environment.
- Direct experience working with investment funds, private equity, hedge funds, or similar investment structures.
- Practical understanding of NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, LP statements, and investor reporting.
- Strong accounting fundamentals, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Fluent written and spoken English, with confidence communicating with U.S.-based stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong ability to work with financial data.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with private equity or alternative investment funds.
- Experience working with U.S.-based investment managers, fund administrators, or financial services firms.
- Familiarity with fund accounting, portfolio accounting, or investor reporting platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience working with international or distributed teams.
- Previous experience supporting multiple funds or fund structures.
