Location: Colombia (Remote/Travel Across LATAM)
Type of Contract: Contactor - Full-Time
Salary Range: $1,900 to $2,200 USD/month
Language Requirements: Fluent in English and Spanish

We are seeking a skilled Field Application Engineer with strong technical expertise in pump systems and hands-on field diagnostics to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting customers directly at their facilities, optimizing pumping system performance, and enabling the sales team through practical application knowledge. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, product improvement, and overall operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performance optimization of pumping systems.

• Provide expert technical guidance to customers on pump system applications and best practices.

• Support the sales team with field insights and application recommendations.

• Deliver detailed feedback from field visits to aid product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, evolving technologies, and customer operational needs.

• Document recurring issues and communicate them to internal teams for corrective action.

• Conduct presentations or training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 3+ years of experience in field service, applications engineering, or technical training related to pump systems or rotating equipment.

• Proven hands-on experience with pump system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and optimization.

• Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability and willingness to travel extensively across LATAM to customer locations.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in global or multi-regional support environments.

• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.

• Prior collaboration with product development or applications engineering teams.
