Job Title: KAS Commercial Development Specialist

Type of Contract: Full-Time Contractor
Salary Range: $1,200/month base salary + 3% commission on all new business generated (On-target earnings: approximately $50K+/year depending on performance)
Language Requirements: Professional English (C1/C2) and Spanish

We are seeking a skilled KAS Commercial Development Specialist with experience in B2B account development, customer engagement, and opportunity generation to join our growing team. You will play a key role in proactively developing customer relationships, reactivating dormant accounts, and identifying commercial opportunities across the United States and Canada. Your work will directly impact pipeline growth, account penetration, and the expansion of our commercial presence within the mining and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage existing, inactive, and former customers to strengthen relationships and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Conduct discovery calls, customer follow-ups, and virtual meetings with decision-makers across maintenance, operations, engineering, reliability, and purchasing teams.
  • Identify customer challenges, operational pain points, and opportunities for aftermarket, replacement, upgrade, and system improvement solutions.
  • Support pipeline development through lead qualification, opportunity nurturing, prospecting activities, and account growth initiatives.
  • Promote company capabilities, technical resources, and training programs to increase customer engagement and market visibility.
  • Maintain accurate customer activity, opportunity tracking, and account development records within HubSpot CRM.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Applications Engineering, Field Service, and internal stakeholders to support strategic account development efforts.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Professional-level English communication skills with the ability to confidently engage customers in the United States and Canada.
  • Fluent Spanish communication skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or commercial development roles.
  • Experience conducting outbound customer outreach, follow-up activities, and relationship-building initiatives.
  • Strong CRM management experience, preferably with HubSpot or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities, qualify leads, and support pipeline growth.
  • Excellent organizational skills, follow-through, and customer-facing communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within industrial, manufacturing, mining, engineering, or technical product environments.
  • Knowledge of pumps, industrial equipment, aftermarket services, or related technical solutions.
  • Hunter mentality with the ability to balance new opportunity generation and account management responsibilities.
  • Experience supporting North American customers and working in remote international teams.
  • Background in proactive account penetration and dormant account reactivation strategies.
