Salary Range: USD $2,000–$2,500/month base salary + uncapped 10% referral fee on originated and closed revenue

We are seeking a skilled Lawyer with experience in legal representation, business development, and corporate client services to join client`s growing team in Brazil. You will play a key role in helping international clients establish and operate businesses in Brazil while driving new client acquisition and managing key relationships. Your work will directly impact revenue growth, client satisfaction, and the efficient expansion of client operations in the Brazilian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the legal representative for clients establishing entities in Brazil, including representation before banks, commercial registries, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
- Manage end-to-end company formation, CNPJ registration, and bank account opening processes, minimizing client travel requirements and accelerating setup timelines.
- Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery meetings, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing new business opportunities.
- Draft, review, and execute engagement letters, service agreements, and corporate formation documentation while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
- Guide clients through KYC, onboarding, and corporate structuring processes, escalating complex legal matters when necessary.
- Oversee day-to-day administration of the São Paulo office and coordinate with internal teams, service providers, banks, accountants, and registries.
- Represent the company at networking events, industry seminars, and client meetings while maintaining CRM records, pipeline reporting, and client relationship management activities.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), with authorization to practice law in São Paulo.
- Ability to act as a legal representative, hold power of attorney, and execute legal documents on behalf of clients.
- 2–4 years of experience in a client-facing legal, business development, or commercial role.
- Demonstrated success in originating, managing, and closing client engagements.
- Fluent Portuguese and English, with conversational Spanish sufficient for client-facing interactions across Latin America.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to explain legal concepts in commercial terms.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working toward revenue goals in a fast-paced international environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with company formation, corporate structuring, or cross-border business operations.
- Background in business, international commerce, or international legal services.
- Experience working with multinational clients and multicultural business environments.
- Proven track record of cross-selling and expanding client relationships.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales pipeline management, and revenue forecasting.
