Vice President of Finance
Overview:
We are recruiting for a Vice President of Finance to join a growing, investor-backed SaaS company. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial operations, building out scalable financial processes, and driving strategic planning to support the company's continued growth and long-term financial health.
The Role:
This role combines hands-on financial management with strategic leadership. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Finance will lead a distributed finance team and work closely with senior leadership to support decision-making and prepare for future fundraising or transaction opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term modeling.
- Oversee accounting operations, billing, collections, audit preparation, and revenue recognition.
- Develop and manage board-level reporting, including monthly and quarterly financial packages.
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to support board meetings and strategic decision-making.
- Own tax planning and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to align revenue forecasting with business goals.
- Guide investor relations and support potential M&A, fundraising, or secondary transactions.
- Assess, develop, and lead the finance team to ensure strong execution and professional growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Background in SaaS or tech-enabled companies, ideally with exposure to private equity or investor-backed environments.
- Strong command of FP&A, financial reporting, tax strategy, and compliance.
- Experience preparing board materials and presenting to executive stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with lean teams.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Impeccable English, both written and verbal.
- Bonus: Experience with M&A or capital markets transactions.
