We are seeking a skilled Logistics Support Specialist with experience in intermodal, drayage, or transportation logistics to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting dispatch operations, coordinating shipments, and ensuring seamless communication between drivers, clients, and port/warehouse partners. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, on-time deliveries, and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch intermodal trucks for port and warehouse assignments, ensuring timely local and regional deliveries
• Maintain real-time communication with drivers to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations
• Act as a liaison between clients, Port of NY/NJ, warehouses, and drivers to facilitate accurate information flow
• Monitor import/export container statuses using industry platforms and tracking tools
• Update and manage shipment data within internal tracking systems to ensure accuracy and visibility
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing clear updates and maintaining high service standards
• Support administrative and operational tasks including email correspondence, documentation, and workflow coordination

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
• 1+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, drayage, or LTL operations
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Experience with logistics or dispatch software (PortPro or similar systems preferred)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience specifically in intermodal or drayage operations
• Familiarity with Port of NY/NJ processes and container tracking systems
• Experience supporting dispatch teams or coordinating driver operations
• Exposure to workflow optimization or logistics systems development
