We are seeking a skilled Sales Engineer with experience in technical sales and a strong understanding of the mining industry to join our growing team. You will play a key role in identifying customer needs, delivering tailored technical solutions, and driving revenue growth through strategic client engagement. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, long-term business development, and market expansion within the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver customized technical proposals that address customer challenges and operational requirements.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product development, and marketing teams to support successful solution implementation and share market insights.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop sales opportunities while contributing to pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the mining sector.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle to effectively communicate product value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical sales involving pumps, valves, or piping systems.
  • Strong understanding of the mining industry and its operational environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing customer relationships and growing business within the mining sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented professional with a proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to remote mining sites and operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales management tools.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Experience supporting complex technical sales cycles in industrial or heavy-equipment environments.
  • Established network of contacts within the mining industry.
