Our client is a growing Facilities Management company based in Dublin, they provide a full range of complete Facilities Management packages to clients in sectors including Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Education, Corporate, Government, Public Buildings, and Retail.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Fitter (Min. 5 years experience)

This full-time permanent role will be based in the Dublin 15 area and will be responsible for the co-ordination and operation of tasks on site, while participating in physical work and sharing knowledge. This role will ensure the successful delivery of works in a timely manner.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Monitor, inspect and verify the correct operation of plant and equipment within the area of responsibility

Maintain and troubleshoot plant and equipment within the area of responsibility

Manage and control in a timely manner the execution of scheduled, planned and unplanned work orders for area of responsibility (work centres).

Identify and create corrective work maintenance notifications for plant and equipment as required

Liaise directly with the relevant AICL Team Leader/Senior Operator and the Maintenance Supervisor to agree the schedule and priority of work

Identify maintenance and/or engineering solutions and implement as requested

Continuously review PPM requirements and originate ESCR’s as required

Provide information as required to ensure the closure of Track Wise records (RTC’s, deviations, incidents and CAPA’s) in a timely manner

Participate in the site Operational Excellence program and all other client site systems

Ensure the clients Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are achieved

Ensuring all works are carried out in a safe, clean and efficient manner while complying at all times with the client’s relevant standards, policies, rules, procedures, quality and permit to work systems.

Ensure that their work centres are kept up to date and reflect actual current status

Record all relevant information on the SAP system when completing works

Ensure all of the required paperwork is present when works are signed off as complete

Support the quality, safety and environmental culture among personnel in order to achieve full adherence in all KPI’s.

Reporting any concerns or issues that may jeopardise the successful operation and/or continuous manufacturing on site or impact upon the client’s operations or support

Act as a brand ambassador and lead the Company through its ongoing expansion

Any other duties as deemed necessary for the efficiency of the business

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate (or equivalent) – Craft: Plumbing or Pipefitting

Minimum of 5 years industrial experience, preferably in a cGMP environment

Must possess a valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificate

Proven experience in a similar role with exposure to facilities management

Good working knowledge of plant and equipment maintenance and spares systems

Proven health & safety awareness with a thorough understanding of quality systems

Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines

Exposure to Facilities Management and or Engineering/Construction environments crucial
