Location: Bonn, Berlin (One person will be hired for each location)

Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for managing medium to large IT infrastructure and platform projects. The role includes providing project management support, overseeing technical infrastructure projects, and ensuring successful delivery within defined schedules, budgets, and quality standards. The position requires coordination with stakeholders, reporting, and adherence to project governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide project support in complex IT infrastructure and service projects with a focus on technical infrastructure.
• Perform project controlling, including monitoring timelines, milestones, costs, and quality assurance activities.
• Identify and coordinate dependencies, risks, and changes in project planning.
• Implement and maintain requirements and change management processes.
• Support project leads and assist with special project topics.
• Maintain and create project plans, status reports, protocols, personnel lists, communication lists, absence lists, and substitute arrangements.
• Set up and manage regular project communication and project documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent IT-related vocational training; alternatively, at least 6 years of professional IT experience.
• Project Management: At least 2 years of experience in classical and agile project management in complex organizations or IT programs. Familiarity with IPMA Level C, PMI PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Scrum (PSM/PSPO).
• PMO Experience: Several years of experience in PMO roles, including risk management, requirements and change management, moderation, presenting complex topics, and technical team leadership.
• Software & Tools: Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, JIRA, MS Project, Outlook, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Languages: German (C1) and English (B1).
• Soft Skills:

• Reliability and coordination skills to manage own tasks and those of others.
