Tasks:
- Design, manufacturing-oriented engineering, and detailing of innovative components, assemblies, and complete systems
- Creation, development, and maintenance of in-house simulation models (e.g., in MATLAB/Simulink)
- Support in the design, research, evaluation, and selection of sensor solutions
- Definition of technical system requirements based on, among other things, customer requirements and regulatory standards
- Development and creation of new solution and concept proposals, as well as independent identification and evaluation of optimization potential
- Planning and overseeing CAE simulations (e.g., FEM, CFD) for system design and validation
- Validating the feasibility of manufacturing, assembly, and service
- Approving component designs and documentation, including 2D drawings
- Identifying and collaborating with external partners (suppliers)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
- Experience/knowledge in the field of guided missiles
- Relevant technical knowledge and experience in the production-oriented design of components and assemblies using CAD, preferably Siemens NX
- Experience in managing and interpreting simulations
- At least 3 years of practical experience in the design and development of new products, as well as the associated planning, construction, and testing of prototypes
- Interdisciplinary technical expertise in the fields of electronics and mechatronics
- Languages: Very good written and spoken German and English
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for future technologies
