Role Overview

The Professional Operations Specialist supports operational teams in print production, document processing, and shipment activities. The role involves hands-on operation of production systems, coordination of workflows, quality assurance, and timely completion of assigned service packages. The position requires a high level of reliability, responsibility, and physical resilience.

Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities

• Production of printed output, including enveloping and dispatch preparation
• Operation of high-volume printing systems and automated enveloping equipment
• Execution of digital postage processing for letter and document shipment
• Performance of customer-specific post-processing and finishing activities
• Execution of all necessary measures to ensure correct, secure, and timely shipment
• Independent support of assigned operational topics through problem identification, analysis, and implementation of appropriate solutions
• Monitoring of ongoing tasks and projects, including progress tracking
• Organization, maintenance, and documentation of required records and evidence
• Ensuring deadline- and demand-oriented completion of agreed service deliverables
• Willingness to work under pressure and perform physically demanding tasks when required

Qualifications & Skills

Education and Training

• Completed vocational education in a technical, craft, or commercial field (minimum three-year training program)

Professional Experience

• At least two (2) years of initial professional experience following completion of vocational training, with continuous and substantive involvement in relevant operational tasks

Technical and Professional Skills

• Knowledge of media design or document layout processes
• Proficient user-level IT skills, particularly in standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Office applications)
• Experience in handling production-related documentation and operational records

Language Skills

• German language proficiency at C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Soft Skills

• Strong team-working capabilities and collaborative mindset
• Professional conduct and appropriate interpersonal behavior
• Clear and confident verbal communication skills

Additional Requirements

• Ability to provide valid certificates or equivalent proof for required qualifications, where applicable
• Alternative evidence may be accepted if formal certification cannot be provided without fault, provided equivalence can be demonstrated
• All stated experience requirements must refer to continuous professional activity during the period immediately preceding the application
