Technical Writer (m/f/d)

Position: Technical Writer (m/f/d)

Location: Bremen, Germany

Field: Defence

Type: Full-time

Tasks:

• Independently prepare practical documentation in accordance with national and international guidelines (H011, ASD S1000D, military specifications)
• Manage and oversee work packages developed in-house (across departments)
• Correspondence with internal/external departments, various subcontractors, and customers
• Preparation of status reports regarding work performed, budgets, and deadlines
• Preparation of quantity take-offs and support for senior project management
• Review of technical documentation for hardware

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree or technical training in mechanical engineering or a related field and/or extensive experience in spare parts documentation
• Knowledge of military technology and logistics is desirable
• Basic knowledge of S1000D specifications and the H011 standard.
• Technical and logical thinking, as well as an understanding of business contexts
• Practical experience with the following programs: PTC Arbortext,
• Adobe FrameMaker, MS Office, content management systems (e.g., HiCo), PDM, 3D visualization
• Very good written German and spoken English
• Willingness to travel
